Working meetings were held at the municipal halls of Kutaisi and Martvili

As part of the Internetization State Program, design works are underway for the construction of an optical network along the Tskaltubo–Vartsikhe–Khoni and Abasha–Senaki routes. These routes cover the rural areas of the Baghdati, Terjola, Tkibuli, Tskaltubo, Vani, Khoni, Abasha, Chkhorotsku, Martvili, and Senaki municipalities, specifically those villages with a population of 200 or more residents.

On November 8–9, working and informational meetings were held at the Kutaisi and Martvili municipal halls, with the participation of Open Net, the network construction companies, and the mayors and representatives of the involved municipalities.

The meetings addressed key issues essential for the smooth and coordinated implementation of the fiber-optical network construction.

The mentioned routes jointly encompass approximately 480 km of optical infrastructure, which will provide over 31,000 additional residents with have a possibility of access to high-quality internet, television, and other digital services.
