Mission and objectives

The mission of N(N)LE Open Net is to expand internet access across the regions of Georgia and reduce digital inequality, thereby contributing to a key objective of the National Strategy for Broadband Network Development.

Our objective is to establish a unified and neutral fiber-optic infrastructure, provide equal opportunities for Georgian citizens to access high-quality internet services, and disseminate the essential knowledge required for their full participation in the digital era.

To achieve this goal, N(N)LE Open Net is implementing the Log-In Georgia Project, which consists of two main components. The project includes both the development of high-quality broadband infrastructure and measures to promote the uptake of digital services and enhance public awareness in this field. Within the project, special emphasis is placed on developing digital literacy in areas such as education, healthcare, and financial services, as well as supporting internet and digital service accessibility for social minority groups and persons with disabilities.

Alongside infrastructure development, Open Net oversees the infrastructure built under both the Pilot and Log-In Georgia projects, ensuring that all internet service providers have the opportunity to access services under free, unrestricted, and non-discriminatory conditions.
