The construction of the pilot network will take place in 49 settlements of Guria region

The design and construction of the broadband infrastructure (including data transmission network/equipment) in the target geographical area of Ozurgeti will be performed by Ltd. "Parvus Group".  An agreement between the company and "Open Net" has already been signed, according to which the completion of the project is planned by the end of this year.

Taking into account the selection criteria of the program pilot area and number of settlements and population in the targeted geographic area of white zone, the project will be implemented in the teritory of Ozurgeti Municipality of Guria region, main parameters of which are: number of settlements - 49, households - 8 516, population 28 567 inhabitants, approximate length of the fiber optic cable - 145 kilometres.
