At the FTTH industry summit, Mariam Sulaberidze spoke about the importance of the ''Log In Georgia'' project and addressed the challenges within the field

The FTTH industry summit, organized by the Council of Europe, convened in Berlin this time, attracting technology experts, investors, and business leaders. Traditionally, it provided a platform to discuss the latest trends and challenges within the field.

The conference featured 24 expert workshops and 16 panel sessions, attracting over 3300 delegates from various countries worldwide.

Mariam Sulaberidze, Director of Open Net, addressed the significance of the "Log In Georgia" project and the challenges encountered in the field during the panel session on digital inequality of regions. Joining her in the discussion were speakers such as Leszek Drozd, Member of the Supervisory Board of Fiberhost (Poland); Robert Mourick, Chairman of the Irish Communications Regulatory Commission (ComReg); Pedro Abad, founder of "ASTEO Red Neutra" (Spain); and Mike Surrey, chairman of "Alncom" (UK).

The speakers discussed the challenges and potential solutions, as well as the opportunities for alleviating digital inequality in villages located away from regional and municipal hubs.
