N(N)LE OPEN NET announces the REOI for OSS/BSS Consultancy Services

N(N)LE OPEN NET is implementing the State program on development of broadband, fiber-optic infrastructure in Georgia (Project Log-In Georgia), the goal of which is to increase access to the high-speed internet throughout the whole country.

In accordance with this, N(N)LE Open Net is announcing the REOI for Consultancy Services (“Services”): “TO PREPARE TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION FOR OSS/BSS”.

N(N)LE Open Net aims to create OSS/BSS, which helps simplify and automatize operation and business processes at N(N)LE Open Net, such as network operation systems, inventory systems, ticketing systems, CRM, and other software or hardware solutions. 

Open Net NNLE now invites interested Consultants to provide comprehensive information (CV with description of similar assignments and other documents) indicating that they could be qualified to perform the above assignment. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrower dated July 2016 (revised on November 2017 and August 2018).

Objective and Purpose of the Assignment

1. Identify appropriate technical/hardware solutions needs for OSS/BSS of the network to achieve the required project objectives while ensuring cost-efficiency; Identification of implementation approach for deployment;
2. Identify the implementation approach for the deployment of the systems.


The required qualifications for applying for the job are the following:


Education:
At least a Master's degree in one of the following fields or related fields:

  • Telecommunications engineering;
  • Electrical and electronics engineering;
  • Engineering Management;

Work experience & skills:

  • At least 3 (three) years of international experience with similar types of assignments or consultancies (with regards to deliverables of the consultancy);
  • At least 7 (seven) years of experience in the electronic communications sector in providing consultancy/advisory services or in network design and/or operations;
  • Good knowledge of technology development and current market trends;
  • Awareness of cybersecurity and resilience aspects of telecommunications networks;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and deliver outputs on time;
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills in English.

 

Duration of the assignment: 90 days.

Salary: 20,000-30,000$
