{"id":699,"date":"2023-04-07T09:37:44","date_gmt":"2023-04-07T07:37:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/opennet.ge\/?p=699"},"modified":"2025-10-10T23:12:59","modified_gmt":"2025-10-10T21:12:59","slug":"optical-network-design-works-of-mestia-jvari-and-zugdidi-khobi-directions-have-started","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/opennet.ge\/en\/read\/699","title":{"rendered":"Optical network design works of Mestia-Jvari and Zugdidi-Khobi directions have started"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"story\">\n<p>In order to build an optical network within the state program on broadband infrastructure development, design works have started on the Mestia-Jvari and Zugdidi-Khobi directions. this included the villages of Mestia, Tsalenjikha, Chkhorotsku, Khobi, Senaki and Zugdidi, in which the population number is 200 or more.<\/p>\n<p>Design and construction work in the above-mentioned direction will be carried out by TELECOM MEDIA INTERNATIONAL LLC, the winner of the tender announced by the World Bank.<\/p>\n<p>In regards to the current project, the representatives of &#8220;Open Net&#8221;, together with the winning construction company, held an informational and working meeting in the administration of the State Trustee of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti \u2013 Giorgi Guguchia. \u00a0The meeting was attended by the representatives of the local government from the administrative units where the construction of the optical network is planned.<\/p>\n<p>The direction of Mestia-Jvari includes up to 160 km of optical infrastructure and 6,000 residents.
