{"id":603,"date":"2021-01-20T09:04:39","date_gmt":"2021-01-20T08:04:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/opennet.ge\/?p=603"},"modified":"2024-11-11T17:25:12","modified_gmt":"2024-11-11T16:25:12","slug":"open-net-is-announcing-a-vacancy-for-the-hld-consultant-within-the-log-in-georgia-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/opennet.ge\/en\/read\/603","title":{"rendered":"Open Net is announcing a vacancy for the HLD consultant within the Log in Georgia Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>N(N)LE Open Net, is implementing the state program on development of broadband, fiber-optic infrastructure in Georgia, the goal of which is to increase access to the highspeed internet throughout the whole country.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In accordance with this, Open Net is announcing a vacancy for the HLD consultant within the Log in Georgia Project.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Objective and Purpose of the Assignment<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Identification of appropriate technical solutions to achieve the required project objectives while ensuring cost-efficiency;<\/li>\n<li>Identification of investment requirements per cable deployment type \/per urban-rural distinction \/ per subscriber;<\/li>\n<li>Identification of implementation approach for deployment;<\/li>\n<li>Supporting Open Net in conducting a procurement process to select supplier for broadband network construction services.The required qualifications for applying for the job are following:\n<p>Education:<\/p>\n<p>At least a Master\u2019s degree in one of the following fields, or related fields:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>telecommunications engineering,<\/li>\n<li>electrical and electronics engineering,<\/li>\n<li>telecommunications economics,<\/li>\n<li>economics,<\/li>\n<li>finance, or<\/li>\n<li>business administration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Work experience &amp; skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>International experience of similar type of assignments or consultancies (with regards to<\/li>\n<li>deliverables of the consultancy)<\/li>\n<li>Strong business\/financial\/economical knowledge and experience;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and experience in telecommunications, engineering, or related fields;<\/li>\n<li>At least 10 (ten) years\u2019 experience in the electronic communications sector in providing<\/li>\n<li>consultancy\/advisory services, or in network design and\/or operations;<\/li>\n<li>A good knowledge of technology development and costing;<\/li>\n<li>Awareness of cybersecurity and resilience aspects of telecommunications networks;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in or knowledge of commercial operations of networks;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team and deliver outputs on time;
