The World Summit on the Information Society is a global United Nations initiative coordinated by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).<\/p>\n<p>According to Mariam Sulaberidze, Director of Open Net, this achievement represents international recognition for the Log-In Georgia project, highlighting the importance of the project as well as Georgia\u2019s efforts to support global digital transformation by creating an enabling environment and establishing a strong foundation for the country\u2019s digital integration.<\/p>\n<p>Mariam notes that the WSIS Prizes nominations and awards serve as an important international platform for recognizing projects that align with the WSIS objectives of building an inclusive and sustainable information society through the use of information and communication technologies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Log-In Georgia has been selected as one of the Champion Projects in the 2026 World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS).
