{"id":1546,"date":"2021-11-12T10:38:00","date_gmt":"2021-11-12T09:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/opennet.ge\/?p=1546"},"modified":"2024-10-02T10:40:02","modified_gmt":"2024-10-02T08:40:02","slug":"open-net-is-announcing-a-vacancy-for-the-design-of-active-part-of-the-log-in-georgia-project-broadband-network-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/opennet.ge\/en\/read\/1546","title":{"rendered":"Open Net is announcing a vacancy for the design of active part of the Log-In Georgia project Broadband Network"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>N(N)LE Open Net, is implementing the state program on development of broadband, fiber-optic infrastructure in Georgia, the goal of which is to increase access to the highspeed internet throughout the whole country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In accordance with this, Open Net is announcing a vacancy for consultant to design active part of the Log-In Georgia Project Broadband Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Objective and Purpose of the Assignment&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identification of appropriate technical solutions for IP\/MPLS and DWDM network, cooling, power, NMS, other related components (hereinafter active part) of the network to achieve the required project objectives while ensuring cost-efficiency;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identification of implementation approach for deployment;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><br><br>The required qualifications for applying for the job are following:&nbsp;<br><br>&nbsp;<br><strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Master\u2019s degree in one of the following fields:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Telecommunications,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electrical and electronics engineering,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Computers and information technology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mathematics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Or valid certificate in one of the following fields: CCIE or JNCIE;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Work experience &amp; skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Experience of similar type of assignments or consultancies (with regards to deliverables of the consultancy)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 10 (ten) years\u2019 experience in the electronic communications sector in providing services in network design and\/or network operations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A good knowledge of technology development and costing;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Awareness of cybersecurity and resilience aspects of telecommunications networks;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team and deliver outputs on time; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent speaking and writing skills in English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Location: J.Bagrationi street 6, Tbilisi, Georgia&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Salary: 20,000-30,000$&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Duration: 2 months&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deadline: November 29th<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more details about Terms of Reference of the position, please see the attached file&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/opennet.ge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/P169698-LIG-TOR-Active_Network_Design.pdf\">P169698-LIG-TOR-Active_Network_Design.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested persons should send their CV to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:vacancy@opennet.ge\">vacancy@opennet.ge<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Good Luck&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>N(N)LE Open Net, is implementing the state program on development of broadband, fiber-optic infrastructure in Georgia, the goal of which is to increase access to the highspeed internet throughout the whole country.
