Will implementing this state program conflict with private sector interests?
The state program was prepared in collaboration with the private sector, which identified their concerns relating to the project. This program is designed not to interfere with or impede the interests of private sector entities. On the contrary, this project will help private sector entities develop their own networks and make investments on a larger scale. Private sector entities are encouraged to visit the relevant settlements to assess investment potential. Within the framework of the State Program, commercial operators were given the opportunity to construct broadband infrastructure in any given settlement area, by using the co-financing tool provided to them by the three-way contract offered by “Open Net”. In addition, the construction of infrastructure by “Open Net” will be performed based on the data provided by the commercial operators. Namely it will only take place in the settlement areas where no private operator has fiber-optic network, nor plans to build one during the next three Years.

-
